For some years now, shutter and garage door manufacturers have been asking us about made-to-measure projects.
So we therefore identified the need for these customers to differentiate themselves in a market that had become competitive,
whether they were installing new homes or renovating existing ones

A global approach to the market for hardware & accessories for exterior closures.
In 2003, TIRARD SAS acquired Forges BURGAUD SAS, a manufacturer of accessories for swing shutters.
The expertise of the 2 companies is different but complementary, enabling us to :
- develop products for a common customer base
- acquire new industrial resources
- strengthen the workforce
The 2 companies, which have been sister companies since 2003, have developed real expertise over the years in the design of accessories for manufacturers of external opening systems. This is made possible by a shared design office that deals with the various problems posed by the gate, shutter and garage door markets. Our real strength: know-how and versatility.
The Tirard & Burgaud Group now generates 70% of its sales from gate and shutter manufacturers. We see ourselves as assemblers and shapers of raw materials. We put these 2 areas of expertise at the service of our customers to meet their requirements, but also to help them win contracts, because with us, accessories are not an option, they are what makes all the difference.
